It started with a simple question: what makes an educator flourish?
Is it their habits? Their prayer life? How do they go about their difficult jobs in a way that keeps them stable (and sane)?
I sat down with 6 extraordinary people who have dedicated their lives to education. Several of them are Christian Brothers, members of the Lasallian order that holds education to be their charism. Some are teachers, some are college leaders, one is a counselor at a local high school.
The process spanned over several weeks, multiple locations, and involved a chance meeting with a brother in Florida, who lives in Chicago, who happened to be visiting Minnesota a few weeks after we met. So we found some time to film.
Each of these vignettes shares something unique about keeping yourself grounded in the modern world, and I think that everyone can find something inspiring in them.
